My name is Tom Kormos. I am the business owner of tomrover.com. This site is for travel freaks who are always ready for a new adventure, to explore unknown lands and secrets.

I am from the beautiful capital city of Hungary, Budapest. I have lived on the scenic South Western Coast of England, in Weston-super-Mare with my family for 12 years.

Since early childhood, I have been regularly travelling around the world with my family. I took my first flight at the age of 3. Dad was a diplomat and early on I got the dream to become a 'travelling ambassador' like him.

No wonder travelling has become my primary passion. Travelling has also become my wife's and 3 children's love. Whenever we have a little time we set forth for an outing, a drive, a walk, or a hike. We always spend our holidays in the open air, on the beach, shore of the lake, or the mountainside. My youngest child, 22, is the most adventureous one. He pursues, rockclimbing, skiing, surfing, kayaking, and skydiving.

I had a most fulfilling business carer for 30+ years before got retired. Toured Europe multiple times, and visited almost all the countries of the Continent and the world from the United States to India, to Indonesia, and to Japan.
